First, hello to all of you new readers! I am so thrilled that you’ve taken the time to check out my little blog. Please leave a comment so I can get to know you!
This post is nothing groundbreaking, but I just had to share my two newest finds.
Last weekend, I spent another Sunday wandering the aisles of my favorite antique store, Sheffield Antiques. My mom and I have probably spent a year collectively in this store, and have found treasures from furniture to Christmas ornaments.
This weekend, the treasure hunting was just as fun. Here’s what a brought home:
Isn’t it so pretty? At less than $20, I couldn’t pass it up. Can’t you just imagine it with some cute little appetizers on top? And, y’all know I love peacocks.
I’ve been picking up pretty plates at antique stores for years, hoping to build an eclectic collection. I love the look of a mix-and-match tablescape, don’t you? Here’s hoping one day I’ll have just that.
I’ve been looking for some height for this hall table (also found at Sheffield, naturally) since after Christmas, when I removed the little Christmas tree that was here. This bird cage fits the bill, and looks beautifully simple lit from within with a candle.
Have y’all found any treasures lately?
